NEW ADDITIONS TO SOUTHERN MEDALS STOCK
16.03.08

SPEC.01 On offer is an exceptional, modern group of three medals to a Royal Air Force policeman.
The group consists of:
Iraq Medal, 2004 with the clasp "19 March - 28 April 2003" (A/Cpl. R.A.F.), General Service Medal, 1962-2007 with the clasp "Northern Ireland" (A/Cpl. R.A.F.) and Accumulated Campaign Service Medal (S.A.C. R.A.F.).
The recipient enlisted (as an Aircraftman) in November 2001. He was promoted Leading Aircraftman in March 2002 and Senior Aircraftman in November of that year. He achieved considerable success during his service and received a number of awards to recognize his achievements - the first being the prestigious Provost Marshall's Baton in 2001. He left the R.A.F. in January of this year (2008).
Due to the structure of the Royal Air Force Police and the necessity for its members to be NCO's, he held the substantive rank of Acting Corporal and this is the rank shown on two of the medals.
With a photocopy of his Certificate of Service, a copy of a photograph of him being awarded the Provost Marshall's Baton and photocopies of various award documents and certificates.
All three medals are in the named boxes of issue and are in superb (NEF/EF) condition.
